Crime Prevention Advice Vehicle thieves often target keyless vehicles and those without additional security measures. Residents are encouraged to consider using a visible steering wheel lock, which can act as both a deterrent and an additional layer of security. Parking in well-lit areas, keeping vehicle keys away from doors and windows, and using any manufacturer-fitted security features can also help reduce the risk of vehicle theft.
